Citizen’– Exploring communication design-led intervention for change

My thesis project with Codesign at Gurgaon, India, designed as an unfolding graphic narrative, Citizen captures the city from above, in all its complexity and places, people and actions within common everyday situations. The imaginary city is modeled on common features of suburban Indian cities, based on weeks of observation and documentation. The accompanying pithy writing, talks of situations and choices, in view of their consequences or alternate choices. It is intended to help people, recognize the impact of their seemingly innocuous actions within the complex ecosystem of the city, and presents both positive and negative scenarios, representing a balanced but realistic view of urban life.link
